Meet Roman Richardson, the twenty year old college student who loves love, or at least his idea of it. While he constantly fantasizes about meeting the Cinderella to his Prince Charming, he's never actually been in a romantic relationship. He's spent his life watching from the sideline as other people, like his roommate Tristan, navigate the dating scene with ease.

As much as he yearns to find "the one", his fears of being inadequate leave him feeling paralyzed and overwhelmed. That is, until fate forces him to be an active participant instead of just an onlooker. When he finally steps into the dating pool, he sees that the water is much deeper than he ever could've imagined.
