DeLuca, Diana M.: - Diana M. DeLuca was born in England and emigrated to Canada as a teenager. She is a retired faculty member and administrator from the University of Hawaii. She first saw Hawaii in 1959, before statehood, when Foster Tower was Waikiki's only high rise. She is the widow of Charles DeLuca, former curator of the Waikiki Aquarium, and partner of the late Dr. Sidney Bronstein, former chairman of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She currently resides in Eugene, Oregon. Her novel, A Dream of Shadows: A Novel of Reincarnation, was awarded first place in two categories by Reader Views 2015. Best novel of Relationships and Spirituality, and best Novel Set in American West.
