About the Work:

There are eight narratives in this collection of misfits. These stories are odd, unusual, and follow my own nonconformist patterns of thought. Six of these stories are either true descriptions of the actual events and places, or otherwise, they reflect my cultural interpretation of the events. The other two stories, 'A Native Inside the Forbidden Gates, ' and 'The Things They Carried, ' reflect my perception of the alienation that we (our species) are collectively but unnecessarily imposing on ourselves. The 'Matriarch, ' is a true description of my own paternal grandmother's unique, rebellious, but charming character. She had a lasting impression on her thirty-six grandchildren. I worked as automation engineer for more than forty years, and the plot of 'Auto-man, ' though a product of my craft, is a true a description of the economic mishaps that unpatriotic owners of this country are imposing on the people of America and the world. At the end of the book, I added an essay that I wrote twenty years ago along with some of my poems. They too follow the team of 'The Misfits.'
