Kyle Anderson is fresh out of college and disillusioned by who he's become. His quest leads him to the small mountain hamlet of Buttermilk Falls. Could the town's name be any more lame? Still, the people at Maggie's Diner seem friendly enough. Kyle discovers an old abandoned mill and foundry that would make the prefect restaurant and art gallery. But he's flat broke. Rowdy Long, a retired rodeo cowboy has his hands full raising his teen-aged daughter, Charlotte on the shores of nearby Lost Lake.
