About the author:
Aileen Cassinetto is the first Asian American and immigrant to be appointed San Mateo County Poet Laureate. The co-founder of Paloma Press, she is the author of the poetry collection Traje de Boda (Meritage Press, 2009) and the Locofo chapbooks, The Art of Salamat, B&O Blues, and Tweet.
