Wells, Shelle: - Shelle Wells is the author of the popular website PreparednessMama and believes that everyone wants to be prepared for the big and small disasters of life. She helps people do this by teaching them to build their food storage, grow a family garden, and have an emergency kit. Her brand of preparedness teaches practical self-reliance, not zombie apocalypse and while she calls herself a 'prepper' there is no doomsday involved. She has been researching topics on preparedness and food storage for over 20 years. A native Oregonian, she's currently transplanted in Central Texas with her husband, Steve.
