Snorri Sturluson was one of the great writers of medieval Europe. Through years of hard work and dedication, he had gained a deep understanding of Icelandic tradition. This is a wonderful, erudite, enjoyable translation of Snorri Sturluson's original 'Edda'. For ease of consultation, the text is followed by a detailed table of contents.
