After time travel was achieved fifty years ago, Delilah is now the proud owner of a Machine. At almost thirty, she has gotten used to the routine of her daily life. She has two jobs, plans meticulously for relaxing holidays, and blasts music when she's experiencing anxiety. Though she craves something and even feels called to a cause greater than herself, Delilah is unsure if she's ready to move out of her comfort zone. With the chances of disappearing becoming a common fear for many Traveller's these days, on the morning of her long-awaited vacation Delilah hears the news that another person has gone missing with a Machine.

Free will is one of the few gifts from the gods and Delilah discovers she has an additional one. When magic is thrust upon her, Delilah must rediscover who she is in a new world. It was never part of her vacation plans, but stopping a war that has been happening for a thousand years is a lot for one person to achieve alone.
