Toyuk is the tale of a boy from an ancient indigenous Sierra Mountain tribe with an unquenchable thirst for truth. Troubled by dreams of strange people and places that defy his imagination, Toyuk prepares for his tribal rite of passage into manhood but wonders if the Great Spirit has chosen him for another path. On the final day of the hunt, Toyuk comes face to face with a supernatural encounter that challenges his lingering questions and gives him all new ones. Toyuk awakens from a dangerous fall in a new place that he comes to recognize as the world of his dreams - better known to us as the present day.
