JUDAS PRIEST-PAINKILLER (1990).
Acum două decenii poate că aș mai fi avut dubii. Astăzi, după ce am reevaluat albumul, pot să spun cu certitudine: PAINKILLER cel mai bun și complet album JUDAS PRIEST. Nu înțeleg de ce l-am subevaluat la momentul respectiv. Soundul și producția, în general, fără cusur. Heavy metalul a ajuns la cer.
Membrii trupei și-au demonstrat întreaga măiestrie pe acest album, plin de energie și cu un tempo foarte rapid. Rob Halford, ca o premoniție, s-a dovedit într-o formă de zile mari pe acest album, doi ani mai târziu, pe fondul unor neînțelegeri cu ceilalți membri, părăsind trupa pentru a reveni în anul 2005. Piese de rezistență ele acestui album:
