The discussions in this book are centered on a Pagan framework, however any tradition could adopt the approach of using virtue ethics to deepen their understanding of the ritual year.The Wheel of the Year, the Solstices and Equinoxes are celestial events. They mark events we can see, even if incrementally. The cross-quarter days - Imbolc, Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain call us to the mysteries, the imaginal and the liminal. As we travel the wheel and focus on each virtue for that point on the wheel, we can move more toward becoming excellent human beings.
