Five years after the events of Journey of the Spirit Man, Michael Seymour finds himself back in the alternate reality from which he had been so eager to escape, but to where he has recently been desperate to return. George Mendoza went blind when he was 15. In 1980, he broke the world- record for blind athletes, running a mile in 4 minutes and 28 seconds. Mendoza now works full- time as an artist and writer. Currently, his exhibition "Colors of the Wind" is a National Smithsonian Affiliates traveling art exhibit. He lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and is founder and president of the Wise Tree Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit corporation for the promotion for the arts. He is a motivational speaker and is currently developing a screenplay based on his life story and children's book Colors of the Wind.
