She is self-taught in digital drawing and has learned by watching tutorials and viewing the work of famous artists to note how they use color and light. By observing everything around her in life for inspiration, Ri combines different media to create her illustrations. Although she mostly works digitally, she is not afraid to seek traditional help from ink, pencils, and watercolor as well.
