In Reudinia-a kingdom with over nine hundred royals-ranking and magical ability decide the next monarch. But just days before the annual assessment, the top-ranking princes begin disappearing one by one.

Looking for the key to unlock her own magical ability, 16-year-old Princess Faven poses as her brother to gain access to the forbidden library in the Royal Academy for Princes. But her plan goes awry when she is forced to take the princes' assessment to maintain her cover-and ranks in the top ten. Things go from bad to worse as her false identity gets her kidnapped along with the other top-ranking princes.

To their dismay, Faven and the nine missing princes find themselves trapped inside the Sidylla Labyrinth-a dangerous prison holding a power-hungry spirit. With only their wits and determination to help them, the ten must work together to confront the coming challenges and face the realization that there is a traitor among them. But all too soon, a deceitful whisper begins to invade their minds.
