Why Weren't the Firefighters Wearing Pajamas?: A Story about the Important People Who Work at Night

De (autor): Jay Rosenstein

When Jay Rosenstein was six years old, he won a book writing contest put on by the local library in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Little did he know that for the next 45 years he would continue his career in journalism as a newspaper reporter, writer/editor and now a children's book author. Jay has never had to work at night, but he hopes his book will inspire others to appreciate that there is another world that exists when most of us go to bed.

Illustrator Jim Starr always loved drawing and painting. He remembers in elementary school being sent out in the hall with his desk, having been caught drawing instead of paying attention. So it was natural for him to pursue a career as an illustrator. He's thankful that he has been able to make a living doing what he loves for over 30 years.
