Borgman, P. W.: - Ms. Borgman is a lifelong writer who's inspired by stories of women who confront society's expectations and limitations, and by the distinctive history and landscape of the West. A spa entrepreneur for over two decades, her first book was the non-fiction wellness guide, Four Seasons of Inner and Outer Beauty (Random House). Her ear for authentic dialogue, and her appreciation for the ironies of the business world, was shaped by years of listening to women's stories in her Silicon Valley spa. An outdoor painter, nature enthusiast and hiker, she divides her time between the Sierra Nevada's Lake Tahoe region and the Monterey Bay Area. She lives with her husband in tiny Genoa, Nevada, the oldest settlement in the state.
