Felix, Kaelen: - Kaelen Felix is a native to Saint Louis, Missouri before moving to Tennessee where she is a graduate of Memphis College of Art (Alumna 18'). She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration along with an interest in graphic design, and she continues to learn about art history, too. Ms. Felix immediately discovered her passion for art age two, and she kept that desire to follow since then. When she was 13 years old, she met Kirby Larson, Newberry Award-Winning author in 2008, and they two have kept in contact since then. Since 2018, Kaelen has been self-publishing children's books for clients on KDP Amazon. She also earned four awards for her illustrations in December 2020. She currently lives in her hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri, where she continues to illustrate children's books.
