Benjamin King is the senior pastor of the megachurch, Mount Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church. He craves power over his congregation and appoints like-minded leaders to carry out his will. Pastors Allen and Bishop are already aligned in the vision, but with the growing number of members, he hires his fourth and final pastor.

Pastor Boseman's mission is to lead the lost souls back to Christ. While doing so, Pastor King receives a supernatural calling. He advances the kingdom of God, but someone is stealing money from the church. Members such as Mother Odell and Sister Viola are on the watch committee to find the snake in the grass or the culprits in the sanctuary.
