The magical community of Griffinwood Close exists in a mysterious sliver between universes and is home to a motley mix of outcasts from various eras and worlds. However, as a youngling vampire, Emil poses a threat to the safety they have so relentlessly built, and Altair, as the only other vampire resident, finds himself saddled with a roommate he did not ask for.
