Harry Potter Places Book Four - Newts: Northeastern England Wizarding Treks - Charly D. Miller

Harry Potter Places Book Four - Newts: Northeastern England Wizarding Treks

Harry Potter Places Book Four-NEWTs: Northeastern England Wizarding Treks is the fourth of five travel guidebooks designed to help Potterites visit the POTTERVERSE: the real-life places described in J.K. Rowling's novels, and the real-life places seen on screen. Three of the six Northeastern England Potter Places receive Great-Site Ratings. Alnwick Castle (Site #44) is loaded with recognizable Harry Potter film sites, including the very young Harry Potter's first lesson on a broom, his initial foray into the game of Quidditch, and where Harry and Ron land the flying Ford Anglia in the Whomping Willow. Durham Cathedral (Site #45) has additional Quidditch practice sites, the Chapter House used as the setting for Professor McGonagall's classroom and the passageway where Harry was able to trick Lucius Malfoy into freeing his house elf, Dobby. The Goathland Railway Station (Site #46) was the inspiration for Hogsmeade Station where Hogwarts students departed for the summer. Goathland was also the film site for the British police drama Heartbeat, which used blue Ford Anglias just like Mr. Weasley's flying car, as police vehicles. Happily, there are many models still parked around town for Potterites to see. Each of our Book Four Site Entries provides all the information needed to make your holiday itinerary decisions and plot your course to the Northeastern England Harry Potter Places you plan to visit. No other single source on the planet-no Internet website or previously published guidebook-provides as much Potterly important information in one place. Even if you're not yet ready to embark upon a UK Potter trip, each of the Harry Potter Places travel guidebooks are fun to read! Nowhere else will you find so much interesting and helpful information about each and every individual Potter Place. Visit the Harry Potter Places website to learn more about Harry Potter Places travel guidebooks, access the free Potterite UK Travel Supplementums we've posted, and see the Table of Contents for all five Harry Potter Places travel guidebooks. www.HarryPotterPlaces.com
