Este o carte profunda, care mie mi-a placut foarte mult. Toate sentimentele sunt amplificate: vinovatie, durere, loialitate, sacrificiu, iubire.
O varianta atipica de triunghi amoros, in care ajungi sa ii indragesti pe toti cei trei protagonisti.
Am savurat si farsele pline de umor care aveau loc intre personajele din casa lui Ridge. Am admirat prietenia dintre Ridge si Warren.
Am admirat bunatatea, altruismul lui Sydney.
Am admirat intelepciunea de care a dat dovada Maggie in decizia ei legata de relatia cu Ridge.
Dar, cel mai mult, am apreciat loialitatea lui Ridge fata de Maggie, adeseori in lupta cu profunzimea sentimentelor pe care le avea fata de Sydney.
Si mi-a placut evolutia ideii de la inceput, legata de ce i-a spus tatal ei lui Sidney (“O viata traita in mediocritate, este o irosire a vietii”) si terminand cu ce a concluzionat ea (“Nu am idee daca-l merit macar, dar de un lucru sunt sigura. Atata timp cat face parte din viata mea, ea nu va fi una mediocra. Viata mea alaturi de Ridge nu poate fi decat una remarcabila.”).
