La fel de buna ca primul volum, sau chiar mai buna. Mi-a placut cum s-a conturat interactiunea dintre Evangeline si Jacks. Dar OMG CE FINAL!!!

I literally devoured this one. Was a lot better than the first, there is more character development, more action, and Jacks, the prince of our Hearts begins to show us a little bit more of his true self and we get more insight about who he is and why he is the villain of this story.
The writing of Stephanie Garber gets better, you can notice she creates more intrigue in this second book. The magic world is wonderful as ever, colorful and sparkly, but the shadows start to appear. It's fast paced but slow at the perfect time for the reader to better enjoy and savor the story.
Personally, this is my favorite book of the series. Each character starts to have a clear part in the story, more dynamic is added to them and we understand better why the plot is going the way it does.
Just like the first book, it is an easy read, you don't have to memories all the details because the author keeps on reminding them to us. I think we can all agree that the ending of this second book of the OUBH series made us all go insane and couldn't end in a bigger cliff hanger and unexpected turn of events, therefore mare sure you have the 3rd book right by your side.

OH MY GOD.
That could be the entire review because how did Stephanie achieve this level of romance, excitement, pure sass, betrayals, twists and turns and overall amazingness??
The world-building was immaculate this book, the setting descriptions so vivid, the feelings were turned up to 11 and you won't want to get off this emotional rollercoaster.
The ending of this book had me crying and gasping for air and couting down the days until the last book came out.
I would definitely recommend this one, 5/5 stars!

O carte superba cu personaje bine costruite si care te fac sa nu mai vrei sa lasi cartea din mana, Magia lumii in care se desfasoara actiunea este de un detaliu superb, iar premisa cartii este una inedita. Volumul continua intamplarile din prima carte din serie, Once upon a broken heart.
