Dilts, Catherine: - Catherine Dilts prefers writing cozy mysteries and short stories surrounded by summer flowers on her sunny deck, but any time of year-and anywhere-a day spent writing is a good day. She lives in Colorado with her husband, close to their two daughters and their families. Her former job as an environmental regulatory specialist often provided inspiration for fiction. The Body in the Cattails is the first in her new Rose Creek series. Author of the Rock Shop Mysteries (Stone Cold Dead, Stone Cold Case, and Stone Cold Blooded) as well as the stand-alone Survive or Die with Encircle Publications, Catherine also writes for Annie's Fiction, contributing books for the Secrets of the Castleton Manor Library, Annie's Museum of Mysteries, and Mackinac Island Knitters series. Her short stories appear in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and Journeys into Possibility: Tales from the Pikes Peak Writers. The Body in the Cattails, the first in her new Rose Creek series, will be published by Encircle Publications in May 2023. She is currently working on her next Rose Creek Mystery.
